I finally got my ass over to Derailer yesterday and built up my bike. wh00t. It makes me feel pretty good that I can now zip around the neighborhood without burning fossil fuel and that I will soon have an alternative to the bus for my commute to downtown. Once the monkeys get over this killer flu that’s going around, I’ll take them over there and start repairing and building their bikes with them. Sweet. Next on the list of Things to do to Save the Planet: sell my car. If anyone wants a 1999 VW Jetta (diesel), let me know.
